Ramadan Kareem
Times Square Center is in the process of repositioning itself as an iconic destination for sustainability, eco-friendliness and green education.
Aside from the holistic and traditional Ramadan hospitality, the sharing of complimentary Gahwa and dates, and henna painting, Times Square Center will continue supporting ecology awareness, sharing kindness, knowledge and an understanding for the environment that surrounds us, through a series of activities and free children’s workshops that will highlight the dangers of single-use plastic, the benefits of recycling and how best to manage food waste through composting.
It is our collective responsibility to educate others on the dangers of single-use plastic, the damage it does to our oceans, wildlife and natural planet ecology. Times Square Center has taken a unique Ramadan initiative with a greener, smarter and more sustainable month of activities.
Throughout the holy month, you are invited to bring your empty, single-use plastic bottles to Times Square Center for recycling, in exchange for a FREE reusable water bottle.
Kids can attend complimentary workshops and learn more about how to recycle, live a greener, more sustainable life and how they can contribute to a healthier eco-system.
The world is in ecological crisis, with more plastic in the oceans than fish, daily species extinction, bee colony collapse, pollution, over population and mass deforestation, it is up to all of us, to educate the next generations through eco-friendly initiatives.
